Starvio ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our platform at starvio.in. By using Starvio, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Information you provide directly

• Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number when you register.
• Business information: Your business name and Google Business Profile review link.
• Customer data: Names and phone numbers of your customers that you upload or enter to send review requests.
• Feedback data: Private feedback submitted by your customers through the Smart Review Funnel.

2b. Information collected automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the dashboard (for improving the product).
• Click tracking: When your customers click a review link, we record that the link was clicked (no personal browsing data is collected from your customers).
• Device & log data: IP address, browser type, and timestamps of requests to our servers for security purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and subscription.
• To send WhatsApp review request messages to your customers on your behalf.
• To route customer feedback through the Smart Review Funnel and make it available in your dashboard.
• To process payments through our payment partner, Razorpay.
• To send you important service notifications (e.g., trial expiry, billing updates).
• To improve, maintain, and secure the platform.

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

To provide the Service, we share limited data with the following trusted third parties:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC): We use Firebase for user authentication and data storage. Your account and customer data is stored in Firebase Firestore. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
• Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business API): Your customers' phone numbers and the message content are transmitted to Meta to deliver WhatsApp messages. Meta's privacy policy applies: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd.: Payment processing. We do not store your full card or bank details — these are handled directly by Razorpay. Their privacy policy applies: razorpay.com/privacy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your personal data and customer data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Message logs and review funnel responses are retained for up to 12 months to provide historical analytics within your dashboard.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data by updating your account settings.
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us.
• Export your customer data from the dashboard at any time.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data storage (Firebase), HTTPS for all communications, and token-based authentication. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

8. Children's Privacy

Starvio is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice in your dashboard. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
